The Love Candy

At a certain point of age or time, maybe you will be stressed up with a question, what in the world is love? Maybe in times when love disappoints you, when you hate love, or a question asked by your friend or lover, or maybe this question just popped up in your mind.

It obviously did come unto me, and boggled me for quite some time. Love is a big word, and language/translation can be so complicating you can argue it for years. In the end, it is up to your mind and heart(if it exists) to decide, based on what you have learned or unconsciously perceived from all the information, culture, education and social you were living in. Thus, there's no clear distinction of who is right and wrong about it. People have different lives and experiences.

In my context and life, regarding to human earthly love, it is simple like this:

" Love is like a dust covered candy, in a nice wrapping paper.
It is fun and exciting in the beginning,
bittersweet when you're taking it,
Oh! how sweet when you've managed to swallow all the dirty dust,
but like a candy it melts down,
then it's finished once it's over. "

Should it be called love? In my society, at least it's how they call it.

je t'aime
ma chérie
